OK, the snow trip was OK up to a certain point. The fresh powder was deep like mud boggin. I had a heavy foot and 39's so that don't mix with Sidekick and Samurai T-case doubler setup. 1st I lost 4 low then I was goin up a petty steep incline and lost 4wd. Needless to say I stood on it in 2wd and my T-cases went BOOM!!!    Bounce 2
I'm now in the process of installing Toyota trany and duel T-cases w/4.7 gears in both cases. 395:1
Never in my life seen so many stock Heeps tryin to go places where they couldn't go.

Your gonna hate that that! I would only do 4.7 gears in the rear case and leave the front one stock.

Thanx. Marlin Crawler has 3 cases with 4.7 gears. I'll be really low on the gearing. It may take me 4hrs to go mile but it will be nice. I didn't have the room for tripple case or I'd just put 4.7 in the rear. Smokin

I honestly think you are going to hate that. You wont have a stock low range gear selection to use in the flater smoother parts, or the option for more wheel speed when needed. Also, I dont see where you will need to be that low geared, both cases in 4.7 range. I have 2.23x4.7 and it is plenty low enough. To each there own, but I think you should try it with stock front case gears and 4.7 in the rear only before you dump the coin into 4.7's for both.

I use to be at 230.1 and felt like I wanted more gearing, its just the 2 Suzuki cases I had wouldn't hold up to more gearing. I've already bought everything. My rig is a trailer queen anyways. Never drive it on the road. If I'm not happy with a fast enough speed on the trail with both cases in high in 3rd gear I'll do some reconsideration. As for now rock season is just around the corner and need to get it up n going.
